Lawn Mowing Cost Calculator

This calculator prices lawn mowing from the area that is actually cut rather than the size of the lot, because the house, the driveway and the beds are not mowed. Enter the lot size, the square footage of everything that is not grass, a rate per thousand square feet, and the linear feet of trimming and edging, and it returns the charge for one visit with a cost per thousand square feet and per acre. A second action takes that per-visit figure, a cutting frequency and a season length and works out the number of cuts, the seasonal total with spring and fall cleanups, and the monthly payment if the bill is spread. Every rate is yours to enter, since mowing prices are set locally and a national average would be the least useful number here. Obstacles, slopes and a gate a rider cannot fit through are priced by time and sit outside the area figure.
