Differential Equation Calculator

This differential equation calculator solves three standard families exactly: first order linear with constant coefficients, the logistic equation, and second order linear homogeneous with constant coefficients. You enter the coefficients and the initial conditions as numbers instead of typing an equation, and it returns the general solution, the particular solution that fits your initial values, and y at any point you choose. The second order action also gives the characteristic equation, its roots, and whether the system is overdamped, critically damped or oscillating. It does not do general symbolic solving, so variable coefficients, systems and partial differential equations are outside what it can answer.
