This prices a concrete driveway as a takeoff rather than a single square foot rate. Enter the length and width and what will drive on it, and it sets the thickness accordingly, works out the concrete to the quarter yard a plant will actually batch, and adds the compacted stone base in tons, the welded wire mesh or bar grid with laps counted, and the control joints spaced at two and a half times the slab thickness with the saw cut measured in linear feet. A second mode puts 4, 5 and 6 inches side by side so you can see what the extra inch costs before you commit.
