Laminate Flooring Calculator

Laminate is a floating floor, so the quantities are not the same as a nailed one. This works out the cartons and the rolls of underlayment, then lays the room out row by row: the field left after the expansion gap at every wall, how many rows fit, how wide the last row is ripped, and whether the offcut from one row is long enough to start the next without breaking the minimum end joint stagger. A third action counts the beading, the transition strips at each doorway and the T mouldings a run needs when it is longer or wider than a single unbroken floating floor is allowed to be. It is quantities only, with no prices and no labour in it.
