Retaining Wall Calculator

This tool works out the materials for a dry-stacked segmental retaining wall. Enter the wall length, the height you want to see above grade, how much of the wall is buried and the size of the block, and it returns the course count, blocks and caps with a waste allowance, the levelling pad stone, the drainage stone behind the wall, filter fabric, drain pipe and the excavation out of the base trench. Optional prices turn the counts into a material cost per square foot of wall face. A second action gives the block and cap count alone when the groundwork is already sorted. It counts materials and nothing more: sliding, overturning, bearing and the height at which a wall needs an engineer are not checked here.
