Foundation Repair Cost Calculator

This tool prices a foundation repair from the quantities the job needs and the rates on your own quote. Give it the length of the affected wall and the pier spacing and it works out the pier count, then adds the price per pier, interior piers, excavation, plumbing, making good, the engineer and the permit, and returns the total with a contingency, a cost per linear foot and a cost per pier. A second action costs crack injection, bracing a bowing wall at a chosen spacing, drain tile, a sump pump and waterproofing the same way. There is no price table in it: every rate is something you enter, because foundation work is priced by the contractor in front of you and a built-in average would be the least reliable figure on the page. What the repair should actually be, and how many piers it takes, is specified by a structural engineer who has looked at the house.

This moves every length, every area and the two rates that sit over them. The prices per pier, per crack and per brace are per item, so they do not move.
The run that is settling and needs support, not the whole perimeter of the house.
Centre to centre along the wall. The engineer sets this from the load and the soil. Leave it blank for 6 feet, or for 2 metres if you chose metres.
From your quote. Ask whether it includes excavation, backfill and the lift, or only the pier. A pier is priced per pier in every country, so this box does not move with the unit choice.
